I Made It Myself is run by founders Sangeeta Bhaskar and Laura Wilson who have combined their backgrounds in TV producing with a passion for making things themselves. Having worked in the fast paced and creative environment of television including BBC, Channel 4 and ITV, they have covered fashion, music, entertainment and lifestyle, from London Fashion Week to the Glastonbury Festival. Drawing on their past experiences, they are now putting their energies into their latest production: I Made It Myself.

Spencer has been making organic and natural beauty products for the past 5 years. He cares passionately about products and what goes into them, and in his classes you'll learn to make products packed full of high quality natural ingredients chosen for their nourishing qualities plus always scented with essential oils. Whether you're making his cold process soaps, or beauty products such as body scrubs, bath salts, lip balms or face masks, you'll always know exactly what's gone into them – and also what hasn't – never unnecessary bulking ingredients, SLS’s, Parabens, petrochemicals or preservatives. Jasmine is a couture milliner. After years of obsessively learning crafts at home (she can sew, embroider, crochet and knit), Jasmine decided to take the plunge and stick to her favourite of all crafts, millinery. A firm believer that anyone can create something beautiful as long as they have enough enthusiasm, Jasmine hopes to pass on the traditional craftsmanship skills she has learned from London's master milliners.
Making jewellery started as a hobby for Jennifer about 4 years ago when she gave her friends unique gifts for their birthdays and also made herself the kind of pieces she wanted but couldn't always find in the shops. It started growing when friends were requesting to buy her jewellery, eventually Jennifer made a big leap leaving her 9 year career in post-production to pursue jewellery design full time under the name of Storm in a Teacup. She now has her own website and stores including Not On The Highstreet are stocking her pieces. We are glad to have Jennifer bringing her talent and expertise to 'I Made It Myself' workshops!
Jess has been interested in all things crafty since she was a little girl when she would cut up her jeans to make dolls clothes and bags (much to the annoyance of her mum!) She loves the concept of making new things out of old and uses vintage and recycled materials where possible. She is an all round crafter, knitter, sewer and jewellery maker as well as other skills. As well as teaching our vintage jewellery workshops, she’s also been teaching sewing classes for us including a 5 week bunting making course.
